A petition is a public demand by a citizen (e. g. you) against an authority or people's representation. The reason is a social or political problem that you want to tackle and solve. Everyone is able to become a so-called petitioner and open a petition. In order for this to be heard in the Committee on Petitions, this petition must collect at least 50,000 signatures from supporters (so-called subscribers) within four weeks.

Another way to file a public claim is Change. org. In this case, these whiplashings can also be directed against persons or organisations, but these are only admonitory in character due to the number of supporters.
