We had managed to do it, but we were not yet able to demonstrate the status of non-profit status. We had set up a website on Betterplace. org, which should enable supporters to make a financial contribution to our work in this way from tomorrow after the award ceremony of the dm honorary office prize at HelferHerzen.

Sometimes, however, things turn out differently than you might think, and now there is the new Payment Services Supervision Act, which regulates the mediation of payments (among other things) on the Internet. Betterplace offers its service free of charge and when Betterplace was founded, this law did not yet exist. Especially for small projects like Your Little Planet! there is this period of time in which you need supporters, but still have no legal form.

In order to ensure this for such projects with the new law, Betterplace would have to introduce a major change in the donation processing procedure and introduce new, costly identification and account processing procedures for projects that are not recognized as charitable. This is expensive and would no longer allow Betterplace to offer its services for free.

Thus, all projects on Betterplace that have no legal status of non-profit status, even if their work is exactly this - including Your Little Planet! And thus there is one way to support less. But thanks to Betterplace for the previous service.
